Ellia Turns ONE - the video

Wednesday 23 October 2013

Uh oh. I am getting emotional again. My sister Mercedes made us a little video of Ellia's first birthday party and I am in complete awe of how perfect it is. I am so grateful to be surrounded by such talented and incredible people everyday, I am one lucky girl!

This party was a huge labour of love, not only for Lucas and I, but for our family and friends, as well. Everyone thought I was completely insane, because well, I am, but they barely complained were excited when I asked them to help me score, fold and glue a million paper gems, stick hundreds of folded paper triangles to the wall, or make diamonds out of straw and hang them from my ceiling. Of course my mom and grandma made 100 manicotti, among a dozen other delicious, homemade things. This entire party would not have come to life and been such a success without them.

Now onto the video, I'm thinking Mercedes should strike up a career in videography. Get out a tissue, folks.

xoxo Nat

  9. Hi Nathalie,

I'm following your Instagram for a while now and I absolutely love your photo's ánd your baby girl.
Just recently I started a blog in Holland about inspiration and ideas for birthday celebrations because in Holland we suck (excuse my language) in trowing parties.

My questions is if I can publish some photo's of your party for Ellia? I will mention your name, your website (and/or IG account) and I will send you a translation of the blogpost I wrote.

My blog is versierjefeest.blogspot.com (decorate your party). It is not much yet but with your party, it soon will be!

I'm sorry I contacted you this way but I couldn't find your e-mailadres....

    With kind regards
