Spring, could it be you?

Wednesday, 17 April 2013

As I have mentioned before, this 'Spring' has consisted of snow storms, freezing cold weather, and a little hail and rain mixed in. A few days ago it was FINALLY above zero, so we decided to go to the park for the very first time!! My mom and sister Bianca came with us. It was so much fun!

At first Ellia was not sure about the swing, but she ended up being all smiles and giggles after a few minutes.

enchanted forest

A few weeks ago, our good friends asked if we wanted to go for a little nature walk. We call this place the 'Enchanted Forest' well my friend did. She once fed a wild deer out of her hand! How cool is that? Unfortunately we didn't see any deer, and had to settle for a chickadee. Still cool, I guess.

March

First time in the snow. She wasn't sure about the cold, white stuff. It's okay baby, I don't like it much either. Last March was warm, there was no snow and I was wearing shorts and ballet flats early. This year, it has been cold, and it sucks. At least we had a chance to go out and take a few shots on a not-so-freezing day!

A play date with some of our best friends, here's Clara, we love her.
Nanny's birthday. Nanny is definitely one of our favourite people ever.

Ellia's 1st Easter
When my sisters and I were growing up, every occasion my mom would decorate the house and it would be a big celebration for us. When the holiday fell on a school day, we would rush home and find the table set with a bunch of fun decor, goodies and sweets. I always knew that I wanted to do the same thing for my children, it is one of my fondest memories.
