As most of you probably don't know, or may have guessed from the numerous times I have changed my logo/website/colours/design/home decor/nail polish/etc, I am extremely indecisive. I also get bored rather easily and like to switch things up. I have come to a point with my business that I am not shooting all that much, by choice of course, because I am taking what I like to call a semi-maternity leave, (Not the full year, like we get here) and needed a little re-brand, because things just didn't feel like ME anymore.
At first I was going to pay someone to design my logo for me, but then I decided to do it myself. So I got out my watercolours and researched fonts, bought a few, did some painting and finally came up with something I like. I wanted to incorporate my love of art, and simplicity, with a bit of colour.
You see there is an issue though, I can't decide which one I love the most. I shouldn't give myself options, ever.
So I have decided to do a mini contest. If you could please leave a comment and vote for your favourite logo option, I would love you forever. More than I do already. And also, I will select one voter at random and mail them a super rad gift, put together with love, by me.

I love the circle part of the logo with your intitals, and think it would be very usable on it's own in a variety of formats - incorporate into a watermark, stickers, packaging.... the list goes on! It has the potential to become a very recognizable part of your brand! #3 is a close second, but I love the fonts used in #1 better ;)

ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad you didn't hire anyone because I strongly believe you didn't need to! You're so creative and artistic that you were all you needed for a new logo. You've done a fantastic job with these 3 you're showing us.
After debating between #2 and #3 I decided the winner, for me, is #2! I really like the splash of color on there! It feels like an exciting celebration of your work. I'd love to see it on a business card. I also enjoy the fonts you chose and the color, especially for "Spencer." It's clean, simple, and tells me something about who you are and what to expect should I ever desire your services.

ReplyDeleteI'm really torn between #1 and #3... I personally like #1 more, but I had a subject in college last semester and learned a bit about marketing communication and such. And with that in mind, I guess #3 is cleaner and better from this specific point of view. They're all great though, but I guess I'll go with #1 anyway! Really love it :')

They are all wonderful however, #2 is definitely my fav! It's fresh, unique and sassy. Really like the font you've chosen for your name in that one.
